No More Games?

By Shawn Tesker

Playing games is pretty big for me. I consider myself a hardcore gamer owning all the three major consoles from Sony Microsoft and Sega. I enjoy playing all of them.

Super expected games coming from big companies with previous giant products that just don't deliver this is what's going on in the gaming world this past three years.

Games which i spend my hard-earned money on like diablo 3 or gw 2 and after no more then a week these games just getting to old and too boring.

The game programmers are just out of ideas that's the way I feel although I should admit I'm not your average gamer, and I'm a pretty hardcore online player.

Many big games from considerable names came out this year and every one of them just failed to put up with expectation.

There is a pretty big conversation going for the past one year in many forums about will we ever see something new or a new gener.

Look at the gear, the computers the mouses the screens all got better, stronger, faster and with the ability to deliver us so much more a 20 mega and even 100 mega internet connections are now super cheap, I got my 100 mega broad-band connection for 10$ a month(that's like 2 cups of Joe) yet where is our game? sitting in the past, running on old engines and aged ideas failing or even unwilling to give us something better.

Maybe their thinking if it's not broken what's to fix the truth is even diablo 3 got many gamers running to it when it launched but what companies should look at is the fact that many gamers run away from it after two days of playtime.

No problem then don't remake the world of warcraft no one wants that, but where is the new graphic. Where is some gaming innovation all, we find today are comic like games from steam.

I must admit its not all is completely true after all a new game came up two years ago called the league of legends which I really enjoyed and played for the past two years but to be honest it isn't a new idea it's just an improved version of a game called dota but you know what I don't care I like it, I want more like it more programmers who dare to try who dare change and maybe we could really see some new things in the gaming world.

Another great innovation is the secret world which tried giving something new but for now, its not really working because of the unrealistic controls maybe in six months time that could be the new great thing.

When I was younger checking out games with friends was great, it was what we did all day long after school, but now I don't have the time for that I just want one or two games that can keep me busy for the next 2-3 months or more.

Relaxing and playing games on my spare time is still one of the best ways I enjoy spending my time when I'm not working.

If you believe that the gaming industry is falling down, please like and twitt this article and if possible comment, and if were lucky enough maybe some gaming company will manage to notice this call.
