Review Of Call Of Duty

By Jonathan Willie

Yes, Call of Duty is back, for the 6th successive year. This November brings us the part two to Call of Duty Black Ops, which in my viewpoint is the best COD game. So normally I had high expectations for the project, zombies, and multiplayer.

Lets get the campaign out of the way initially. The story takes place in 2025 and has goals sprinkled in, that are set during the rivalry. Black Ops 2 is a dissatisfaction on the tale front for me. The practically just ignore many of the things from the first on and is now just an additional COD campaign that delivers you every where and you have no idea exactly what the heck is going on. However the visuals are nicer than previous installments and you still have all the big ceremony. Even though the story wont excite, the campaign is still fun to play with.

Treyarch struck gold with zombies back when they launched World at War and is now attached to every COD game they release. The graphics look better than ever and gameplay feels wonderful. Tranzit mode is a good touch and I like the idea of a bus taking you to different places to fend off zombies. The usual survivor mode is back and is wonderful.

Now for multiplayer. Well, its the best Call of Duty multiplayer ever. The gameplay feels absolutely just right. Its smooth and quick paced and is really enjoyable to play. The new pick 10 produce a course is a much invited break from the usual. The option of firearms is good, however not as large as previous COD games. There are the usal game modes and they have included kill confirmed this time around. You can status your firearms twice with a maximum level of 20. There are 10 prestige's and 55 ranks now. All the maps are ordinary to truly excellent and well designed. Most likely the biggest change to the multiplayer would be dumping the killstreaks for point streaks. Its much more challenging to build your point streaks up, because they reset after you die. But it does produce even more tactical decisions and makes you consider how you will play.

This is a truly good Call of Duty game and is now the new criterion of the series. I think taking Call of Duty to the near future was a good option and cant wait to see where it goes next.
